Roadside Wildflower Identification

All of these plants were found on a roadside in North Pickering on September 1st/2017. Newcomb’s Wildflower guide was used for all of the identifications. A sample of the Solidago species was collected for a positive identification with Michigan Flora.

Tall Goldenrod (Solidago altissima) OR Canada Goldenrod (Solidago canadensis). I collected a sample of this plant for further identification using Michigan Flora.

I am torn between the Field Sow Thistle (Sonchus arvensis) and the Common Sow Thistle (Sonchus oleraceus) for this one. Composite Family.
